Welcome to Poverty 101: Day 2
Welcome back class. It ' s good to see that everyone could make it for Day 2 of Poverty 101. Today we are going to get started with the introductions so we can get to know each other a little better. It ' s good to know a little something about the people sitting around you not only because it helps to draw the class closer together but also in the off chance that your wallet or other valuables come up missing you ' ll have a little something to go on. After all this is a class about poverty.

I guess I ' ll get the introductions started. My name, as I mentioned yesterday, is Tim Ward. I was born in Birmingham, Alabama in the late 70 ' s. I ' ve lived most of my life in Florida ( in Orlando, Fort Myers, & Lake City ) but I also lived 10 years in Atlanta, Georgia. I refuse to live in any state that has a higher latitude than South Carolina. I once visited Canada and to this day I still wonder why.

I ' m single, have never been married, and have no kids of which I am aware. I will be the first to admit that the lack of offspring probably has more to do with my use of alias ' and fake I. D. ' s when dating than it does with my sexual habits. I ' m a firm believer that until you ' re married they don ' t need to know who you really are.
